Chris Winn graduated from Northumbria
University in 1992 with a degree in 3D Design and a national
furniture design award. He then worked for over 10 years
designing for companies whose clients include Laura Ashley,
Next and M&S before setting up on his own as Northernsoul
Design, fulfilling a long-term ambition of designing and
making bespoke furniture for people.
Chris’s designs are very individual. His approach
is always specific and appropriate, taking the essence
of the situation and delivering a piece which could never
be found off the shelf. He creates contemporary furniture
which sits perfectly with more conventional settings.
Chris lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with his wife and two
children working from his purpose built studio so he can
co-ordinate his family and work life and still maintain
a nationwide client base. |
